Membership in the society is available to those individuals who are active in the field of healthcare engineering and related healthcare fields.
Student Membership is $0 and is for Kentucky students who are full time or part time in a healthcare related field. If you are a student and wanting to be a member please email your transcript to firstname.lastname@example.org and your account will be set up for you after verification.
The Kentucky Society of Healthcare Engineers (KSHE) is a professional society devoted exclusively to the education, development and expansion of skill and standards of the Environment of Care disciplines, as performed in healthcare facilities.
What does KSHE do for its members?
Educational meetings on such topics as engineering management, energy conservation, preventive maintenance, managing a medical equipment program, electrical safety, fire safety and codes, and standards updates are held throughout the year.
How does KSHE benefit the profession?
KSHE activities help members to further develop their professional abilities and provides opportunities for members to exchange ideas and keep abreast of their discipline through its meetings, contact with members, its quarterly newsletter and the interactive KSHE website.
